Before you choose their portrait

Everything you might be wondering before turning your favourite pet photo into something made to keep.

What kind of photo should I upload?

A clear photo taken in good natural light works best. Your pet does not need to be perfectly posed — often the everyday photos you already love make the most special portraits.

Does my photo need to be professional?

Not at all. Phone photos are absolutely fine. The most important thing is that your pet is reasonably clear and their features are easy to see.

Can you remove the background from my photo?

Yes. The original background does not need to be perfect, so distracting surroundings can usually be removed when your portrait is created.

Can I have more than one pet in a portrait?

Yes, where the product option allows multiple pets. You can use separate photos too, so your pets do not necessarily need to be together in the same original photograph.

What if my photo isn't suitable?

If there is a problem with the image you provide, we can get in touch before your portrait is created so you have the chance to send another photo.

How long will my portrait take?
